This is a delicious, spicy and tasty curry made with paneer to be serves with naan or tandoori roti.
Yield / Serves
Paneer (cubes) - 1 cup
Onion (grated) - 1
Tomato (grated) - 1
Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
Green chillies (chopped) - 2
KASHMIRI red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
Kitchen king masala powder - 1 tsp
Milk - 1/4 th cup
Kasuri methi (roasted & crushed) - 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts (roasted and powdered) - 15
Fresh cream - 3 tbsp
Whole spices : Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Cloves - 3
Cardamom - 2
Bay leaves - 2
Pepper corns - 8
Heat oil and butter in a pan, lightly fry the paneer pieces and keep aside.
Then in the same Oil, add the whole spices followed by the chopped green chillies and ginger garlic paste.
Then add the grated onion and saute until golden Brown. Then add the grated tomato and cook further.
Then add the milk and mix well. Add required amount of water and mix well. Then add the Kasuri methi powder.
Then add the paneer pieces and Let this simmer for few minutes. Then add the cream and mix. Check for seasoning and serve.
Then add the powdered masalas and salt. Cook until the masala leaves oil. Then add the cashew nuts powder, cook for few more minutes.
