  • 1 cup Groundnut €“ 1 Cup groundnut â
  • small cup Onion chopped sized â
  • 2 Green Chillies â
  • 1 pinch Cardamom grounded â
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 cloves €“ 2 â
  • 1 inch Cinnamon â
  • 2 tbsp Grated Coconut â
  • 1 tsp Ginger chopped â
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic chopped â
  • 2 tbsp Oil â
  • 2 pinches Turmeric
  • red chili powder â as required
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 2 cup Water â


  • Boil the peanut with salt and water. Keep it aside.
  • Grind the onion along with the spices provided in the ingredients.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the grounded paste and fry until it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Add the boiled peanuts along with water and turmeric. Cook it for 5 minutes on a low flame.
  • Now add red chilli powder and cook it for 5 more minutes. Add salt if required.
  • Once cooked properly, remove it from the stove. Garnish and serve it hot with rice or chapati.

Recipe Notes

Cook the paste over a low flame until it turns golden brown in colour. It provides an add-on for the gravy.
