  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour and half
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder and half
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3/4 cup Yoghurt thick
  • 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • cup Melted Butter or oil half any oil or
  • cup Orange Juice half freshly squeezed
  • a tbsp Orange Zest grate the outer peel of orange


  • In a bowl sift three times: 1 and a half cup all purpose flour, 1 and a half tsp baking powder, half tsp baking soda.
  • In another bowl take three fourth cup thick yoghurt. Whisk it. Add three fourth cup powdered sugar.
  • Whisk till smooth.
  • Add half cup any oil or melted butter. Add half cup freshly squeezed orange juice and a tbsp of orange zest.( grated the outer peel of orange).
  • Whisk till its a smooth mixture. Gradually add the flour.
  • With a spatula keep folding it till everything is well incorporated.
  • Pour this in a loaf tin.
  • Preheat oven. Bake this for about 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees centigrade.

  • Remove and cool it completely and cut into slices.
