Ingredients & Quantity
  • 1 and a half cup all purpose flour
  • 1 and a half tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup thick yoghurt
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Half cup any oil or melted butter
  • Half cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • A tbsp of orange zest (grate the outer peel of orange)

How to cook?
  1. In a bowl sift three times: 1 and a half cup all purpose flour, 1 and a half tsp baking powder, half tsp baking soda.
  2. In another bowl take three fourth cup thick yoghurt. Whisk it. Add three fourth cup powdered sugar.
  3. Whisk till smooth.
  4. Add half cup any oil or melted butter. Add half cup freshly squeezed orange juice and a tbsp of orange zest.( grated the outer peel of orange).
  5. Whisk till its a smooth mixture. Gradually add the flour.
  6. With a spatula keep folding it till everything is well incorporated.
  7. Pour this in a loaf tin.
  8. Preheat oven. Bake this for about 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees centigrade.

  10. Remove and cool it completely and cut into slices.
