Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Oo Mugi oo mugi
- 1/2 cup Moong Dal
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 1 to Tomato chopped
- 2 Green Chillies
- 1 Red Chillies dry
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 Potato sliced
- 1 Garam Masala teasp
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Coriander cumin,ginger paste
- 1 pinch Turmeric
- 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Dry roast Oo mugi for 2 mins on a pan.
- In pressure cooker put the moong dal,potato pieces with 2 cup water and wait for 2 cities.
- In a pan heat up oil and then add bay leaf,dry red chilli.
- now add the chopped tomato and saute for 1 min.
- Add cumin,coriander,ginger paste and cook for 2 mins.
- Now add moong dal,potato pieces with a little water in it.Cook nicely for 5 mins.Add turmeric powder and green chillis.Add salt.
- After that add roasted Oo mugi (barley) and cook for 5 mins in a low flame.Check the water consistency.Add butter and stir well.Add garam masala from top.
- Serve hot,the delicious,healthy Oo mugi & moong dal khichdi.
