Onion bud stem is very delicate. We should not add extra spice. We tear when we cut fresh onion. But when we cut bud stem we don't need to tears. In West Bengal it is easily available in the market. In other states it is rare to known. It is very easy to cook. It can be added in along with other veg and non veg.

Ingredients
- 100 gm onion bud stem
- 2 medium sized potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon onion seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 2-3 green chilli
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- Fresh coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Salt

Instructions
- Every onion plant we can find the onion bud stem. When it matured we can see the flowers and seeds.
- First wash Onion bud stem then cut 2 inches long.
- Take a cooking pan heat and add oil. Then add onion seeds, turmeric powder, cumin powder, ginger paste and green chilli.
- Now add the onion bud stem then sauteed.
- Onion bud stem along with boiled potato cut into same sizes. Mix well together close the lid for five minutes. Add fresh coriander leaves and serve with plain steam rice.
Notes
Tender vegetables should not need to add extra spice. It has own identity.
