  • 200 gm Chicken
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 Mango riped
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Onion thinly sliced
  • 1 slices Tomato in rounds
  • 1 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1/4 cup Red Capsicum green and chopped
  • 1 Carrot chopped
  • 2 Beans chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Thyme
  • leaves Spring Onion Greens or coriander and coriander chopped for garnish
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 cup Water or as required
  • 1-2 tsp Salt pepper and lemon juice for seaaoning the chicken., or as per taste


  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  • Wash the rice and soak them in water till further use.
  • Puree the mango reserving 5-6 small chunks of pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the chicken and sear them on both sides till the chicken changes its colour.
  • Add the onions, ginger garlic paste and green chillies and saute for about 2 mins.
  • Add the rice, mango chunks and saute for 2-3 mins.
  • Add the chopped carrots, beans, capsicums, mango puree, water and let it come to boil.
  • Season with salt and add the thyme and cook for couple of mins.
  • Layer the thinly sliced tomatoes, cover and simmer till it is done.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and spring onion greens and serve.
