Ingredients & Quantity
  • Okra /lady finger 1/2 kg
  • 2 Large size potato
  • Salt to taste
  • Fenugreek seeds 1tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Croainder powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Onion paste 2 tbsp
  • Ginger, Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped tomato 1 cup
  • Dry mango powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
How to cook?
  1. Wash the okra and cut into two,wash and cut potato too.
  2. Okra/bhindi In Gravy
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the okra and potato
  4. Okra/bhindi In Gravy
  5. Now add remaining oil and pop the fenugreek seeds then saute the ginger,garlic and onion paste.
  6. Add dry spices and cook 2 minute ,add tomatoes again cook the masala till oil separates.
  7. Add okra ,potato and 2 large cup of water,cook with cover .
  8. Add dry mango powder and garam masala switch off the gas.
  9. Serve with boiled rice .
