Okra , a green vegetable is a superfood for kids . Make this Okra Spread and children would gorge these spread as they love mayo and cheese . A healthy spread which is recommended for adults as well. This recipe contains peanuts .

Ingredients
  

  • Peanuts 4 tablespoons
  • Okra 20
  • Garlic cloves 4
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil 3 tablespoons
  • Caraway seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green chillies 2
  • Yogurt 1 tablespoon
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Dry roast peanuts in a pan till golden and crunchy . Transfer the roasted peanuts to a plate . Allow to cool.

  • In the same pan , heat sesame oil . Add cumin seeds , chillies .Add the completely drained okras . Toss them in oil till they turn light brown . Add the garlic cloves . Toss quickly . Remove from heat . Cool the mixture completely .

  • Grind the cooled peanuts , okra mixture , sesame oil , yogurt to a semi smooth dip like consistency . Add salt. .
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl . Use it for Kathi rolls , breads and nachos .

Don’t add water .
