Jamun fruit is in the season and markets are loaded with plumpy and goey very very sweet Jamun fruits.
So I thought🤔 why not infuse the goodness of the fruit in the ice cream.
I was very happy with the texture and the taste of the end result.
My family just enjoyed it. It's a keeper recipe for sure.
The pulpy Jamun fruits gives the ice cream a very smooth and creamy texture.
No flavourings or added colour is required if you are using a good quality fruit. You can see the tiny violety specks on the ice cream of the blended fruit, which makes it looks very inviting. The flavour makes it difficult to believe that it is homemade and prepared in no time and that too without an ice cream churner.

Ingredients
- 10-15 Fresh pulpy Jamun fruits
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 1/2 cup whole fat milk
- Little less than 1/2 cup condensed milk

Instructions
- Clean and wash the fruit well. Remove the dirt properly and chop the pulp and remove seeds.
- In a blender mix together all the ingredients and blend.
- Store in an air tight container, And freeze for 2 hours
- After 2 hours, bend the Jamun ice cream once again. Again store in the same container and freeze for at Least 4 hours or overnight.
- Relish the very yummy ice cream after dinner with family or make this as a party dessert. Any which way it will be super hit for sure.
