  • 1/2 kg Colocasia 1/2 Kg colocasia
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp Carom Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Green Chillies finely chopped or
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil or ghee, or oil ghee or or oil
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala as per taste or
  • Garnishing or coriander coriander for


  • Wash the colocasia and boil in pressure cooker for 10 minutes,cool,peel and cur into two.
  • Marinade with lemon juice,salt and black pepper powder for 5 minutes,
  • Heat the oil in a pane crackle the carom seeds saute the green chili add marinated arvi ,red chili powder and garam masala powder .
  • Stir and mix all ingredients,cook it for 2 minute ,turn off the heat.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves serve hot with paratha or chapati .
