Nalen Guder Sandesh
This is a simple recipe which has a flavour of Bengal village. Chena is made from cow milk. It is a seasonal recipe that is winter. We get the jaggery from dates. It has own flavour so no need to add any other flavour. Sandesh is a popular choice of Bengal now it is spread all over the world.
- 1 cup cow milk chena
- 1/4 cup nalen gud
- A few pistachios
- Just mash the chena with your palm until smooth dough. Then add dates jaggery and make tight dough.
- Now give shape as you like, I have clay mould which is shown in the picture. Garnish with pistachios.
