Ingredients
  

  • Rice 1 cup
  • Foxtail millet 2 cups
  • Whole Blackgram 2 cups
  • Thur dal 1/2 cup
  • Moongh dal 1/2 cup
  • Chana dal 1/2 cup
  • Red chillies 3 to 5
  • Ginger a small piece of an inch size Peeled
  • Drumstick leaves 1cup
  • Grated Bottlegourd Lauki 1 cup
  • Finely chopped onions 1 cup
  • Salt
  • Hingh powder 1/2 tea spoon
  • Oil for making Adai

Instructions
 

  • Mix rice, millet and lentils together and wash twice. Soak in water for 4 hours. Grind them to coarse thick batter adding red chillies and salt. Allow it to get ferment slightly for 3 to 4 hours.

  • Add washed drumstick leaves, grated bottlegourd ,onions, hing powder & Mix well. Heat dosa tawa. Pour a ladle of batter on it and make like dosa.

  • With the dosa flipper make a hole in the centre and drizzle some oil there and around it. after 2 minutes flip off the next side. Cook till both ends become brown in colour.
