Mushroom, if made with any sauce, applied on bread and then grilled can be a great starter which not only looks good but also tastes good. Here I have used white sauce with mushroom and then grilled. You will find it great when you try it.

  • 8 to 10 slice Bread
  • 1 Mushrooms pkt
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1 tbsp Refined Flour
  • 1/1/2 cup Milk or as required
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Black Paper Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp Oregano


  • preheat the oven on 170% for 10 minutes, Melt butter in a pan. Add the garlic and flour.Mix well. Keep stirring for a few minutes without browning it.
  • Switch off the flame. Add milk slowly, mixing the flour simultaneously. No lumps should be formed. It should be uniform suspension.
  • Now add salt and pepper and keep stirring well. add green chili, lemon juice , Keep stirring till the sauce thickens. Spread on bread slice and keep in preheated oven for 10 minutes . Serve hot with tomato sauce.
