Mushroom Banana Kebabs

Ingredients
- 1 packet Button mushroom/ khumb
- 4 number Boiled raw banana/ kaccha kela
- 2 tbsp Roasted chana/ bhuna chana
- 2 tbsp Salted pistachio
- 1 tsp Finely chopped green chili/ Hari mirch
- 1 tbsp Fine chopped coriander leaves/ dhaniya patti
- 1 tbsp Fine chopped ginger/ adrak
- 2 tbsp Finely chopped onion/ pyaz
- 1 tbsp Garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder/ kali mirch powder
- Salt
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper powder
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice/ Neebu ka ras
- 1 tbsp Butter/ makkhan
- Oil for frying
- For pickled beetroot :- 2 tbsp Sugar/ chini
- 1 Beetroot
- 1 tbsp Vinegar/ sirka
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder/ bhuna jeera powder
- For dip :- 2 tbsp Veg mayo
- 2 tbsp Hung curd/ chakka dahi
- 1/4 tsp Salt/ namak
- Fine copped green chili and coriander leaves.
Instructions
- Wash and remove the skin of mushroom and grate them. grate the boiled banana. grind the chana and pistachio into a fine powder, keep aside. Heat the butter in a pan add cumin seeds as the splutter add green chili, ginger and onion saute till pinkish
- Now add grated mushroom and banana stir and mix. Add garam masala powder, Cheyenne powder, salt, lemon juice and mix it well.
- Now add chana and pistachio powder, cook the mixture for couple of minute, switch off the gas. Add coriander leaves, when the mixture cool completely make kababs and shallow fry them both side until golden.
- For pickled beetroot :-Peel,wash and cut into thin slices the beetroot.
- Boil 1 glass water add beetroot cook for 5 minutes. Now add salt, cumin powder sugar and vinegar, switch off the gas.
- For dip :- Mix mayonnaise, curd, salt,green chili and coriander in a bowl, transfer to a serving bowl.
- Serve hot the kebabs with pickled beetroot and dip.
I like the idea of mushroom and bananas going into kebabs wanted to know what is Cheyenne pepper..is it cayenne pepper? In case yes …please correct it.
