Ingredients for Mulberry Spritzer
1/2 Cup Mulberries, about 12
10-12 teaspoons simple syrup (Refer notes)
2 teaspoons lime juice
6 ounces (180 ml OR 3/4 cup) soda water
Crushed ice (to fill the glasses)
Mint sprigs, to garnish
Notes
For the simple syrup
Start by heating 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar in a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat, continue to cook down the water to a rapid simmer, until the liquid is slightly thick but runnier than honey. This will take 5 to 6 mins approximately.
Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
Transfer to a bottle or glass jar, cover and refrigerate till further use.
