Ingredients
- 1 cup coarse gram flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup water
- pinch of orange food colour
- 2-3 tbsp melon seeds
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup water to make syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- few drops of lemon juice
- ghee to fry

Instructions
- take gram flour in a bowl
- add milk, water and food colour to make a thick batter
- heat ghee in a kadhai
- once the ghee is hot, put the flame to medium and hold the boondi ladle above the ghee
- pour the batter all over the ladle and start tapping the handle of the ladle so that boondi comes out in the ghee
- once the bubble reduces, remove boondi from ghee and drain on absorbent paper
- repeat the same process for the remaining batter
- to make sugar syrup, boil sugar and water until one string consistency
- switch off the flame, add cardamom powder and lemon juice
- add boondi and mix well
- cover with a lid and let it rest for 10 minutes
- add melon seeds
- grease your hand with ghee
- take boondi and make ladoos
