About this Recipe

Molagapodi is made by perfect blend. It is spicy and tasty with Dosa and idly. See the Dosa is painted with gunpowder and platter share is shinning

Ingredients & Quantity
  • Roasted dal. 1 cup
  • Red chilli. 5-6 piece
  • Sesame seeds and asafoetida as required
  • Jaggery one small lump
  • Coconut half cup
  • Chat masala two tsp
  • Cocoa powder two tsp
  • Roasted coriander powder two tsp
  • Salt and oil as required
How to cook?
  1. Add two tsp oil in a heated pan add red chilli and Dal to roasted golden brown. Add sesame seeds asafoetida
  2. Molagapodi Or Spicy Gunpowder
  3. Off the flame and blend fine powder. Add coconut chat masala cocoa powder roasted coriander powder.
  4. Add in a blender it should be perfect blend. Now spicy gun powder is ready
  5. Keep in a air tight container. When you use add ghee or oil and make a paste
  6. Serve with Dosa and idly
