Makar shankranti celebrate all over India in different ways. In South India they celebrate as a Pongal, Punjab as a Lori, Assam they celebrate as a bihu, Uttar Pradesh as a khichudi, Bengal as a Poush shankranti and interior village of West Bengal like Purulia and Bankura they celebrate as a Tushu. Tushu is a Goddess. They offer their wishes with different types of recipes. There are unlimited recipes. This Moaa recipe is made by jaggery and new crops. When those people go to work in their field they used to carry this types of tiffin.

Ingredients
- 100 gms puffed rice
- 75 gms jaggery

Instructions
- Heat a pan add jaggery and half glass of water. Boil till a certain point. Then add puffed rice.
- Mix well and give round shaped and serve.
Notes
It is very simple recipe. I like simplicity.
