Mixed Millet Khichdi

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mixed millet
- 1 handful chopped carrot
- 1 handful chopped cauliflower
- 1 handful chopped cabbage
- 1 handful chopped potato
- 1 handful green peas
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp Ginger paste
- 1 tbsp chopped tomato
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp ghee or butter
- 2 red chilli
- 2 bay leaves
- Green chillies
- Coriander leaves
Instructions
- Wash and strain the mixed millet. Boil a glass of water with bay leaves. Add mixed millet, chopped carrot, green chillies, turmeric powder and salt.
- Cover and cook for 10 minutes. On other side take a pan for tempering add oil, cumin seeds and red chilli. Saute for a few seconds, add cauliflower, green peas, chopped potato, chopped cabbage, chopped tomato, ginger paste and salt.
- Cook for a few minutes, now see the millet is done. Pour the cooked vegetables into the Khichdi. Add homemade garam masala. Sprinkle with fresh coriander leaves.

- Serve hot Khichdi with ghee or butter, along with any other dry curry.
