Milk Cake, also known as Kalakand, is a traditional Indian sweet made with just a few ingredients like milk, sugar, and cardamom. This rich, soft, and slightly grainy dessert is prepared by reducing milk to a thick consistency, sweetened with sugar, and flavored with cardamom. Once cooked, it's set and cut into squares or slices, making it a perfect treat for festivals and special occasions.

Ingredients
- 1 ltr Milk
- 2/3 cup Paneer chaina - homemade. fresh, crumbed
- 1/2 cup Sugar you can add/less as per your taste
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp Pistachios sliced

Instructions
- Take a heavy bottom pan and add milk. Keep stirring on low heat. Stir it till the quantity reduced to its half.
- Now add crumbled paneer into it. Stir it well till it start thickening like mawa (khoya).
- Add sugar, green cardamom powder and stir well. Continue to cook till the mixture begins to leave the sides of the pan.
- Transfer it into the greased plate. Garnish with sliced pistachios.
- Set aside for 3-4 hours and cut it into the desired shapes.Â
