Milagu Rasam or Pepper rasam is a spicy, tangy and hot appetizer drink made from tamarind, black pepper and cumin.this rasam is excellent remedy for cough and cold in the winters.

Ingredients
- 1 cup toor Dal
- 2 tablespoon black pepper powder
- 2 tablespoon rasam powder
- 2 to matoes
- 1 tablespoon cumin seed
- 2 tablespoon tarmarid
- Salt

Instructions
- Soaked the tarmarid in water.
- Then soaked the toor Dal for 10 minutes.
- Then put toor Dal, tomatoes, cumin seeds, salt, black pepper powder, 1 cup water in pressure cooker and Boiled it.
- When toor Dal is Boiled, mash it nicely. Add water to a soup consistency.
- Add rasam powder also. Again give one whistle.
- Then strained tamrind juice and put in dal.
- Your Milagu Rasam is ready.
