Methi Mattar Paneer Subji….

Methi is traditional cure for diebites and loss of appetite.generlly this dish is prepared with cream or I used paneer and milk. I used very easy method.

  • Methi-2cups
  • Green peas boiled-1/2 cup
  • Paneer-2tbls
  • Milk-1cup or as needed
  • Green chilliest-4-5
  • Cashewnut-6-7 pieces
  • Onion-2small
  • Garlic-3-4 pods
  • Garam masala1/2tsp
  • Tomato-1big or 2 small
  • Salt
  • Butter or oil-2tbls


  • Wash methi and cut finely Roughly Cut onion tomato and garlic
  • Heat oil or butter add onion, and garlic fry till transparent ,.add tomato and cashewnut nut and fry for 2minutes .
  • Remove and grind all the frying ingredients with paneer.and green chilliest.
  • Heat oil or butter add zeera when cracked add methi leaves into it sauté for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add grinding masala to methi leaves. Mix well.Add milk mattar and salt
  • Cover it and cook for 5miutes. Add Garam masala and remove Serve with nan or tandoori Roti Use cream at the time of serving(optional
