  • 1 kg refined flour
  • 1/2 kg mava
  • 2 tbsp melon seeds
  • 2 tbsp grated coconut or dedicated coconut
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp finely sliced almond
  • 2 tbsp chironji
  • 1/1/2 cup ghee clarified butter
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp refined flour and water for sealing


  • in a pan dry roast the mava till it become golden. pop the melon seeds in another pan.
  • now with the adding all the filling ingredients make the mixture . knee the soft dough with ghee,flour and keep it for 1/2 an hour with covering a musclin cloth .
  • divide in too small ball and make the small poories . fill with mixture seal the borders with your lovely hands .
  • heat the oil and fry them golden. always fry on sim.
