About this recipe

Maize has lots of benefit. It protect cancer and heart disease. So I thought I should try different cuisine with maize.

Ingredients for Masaledar Maize (corn)

  • 2 Maize
  • 2 finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp channa masala
  • Chopped coriander
  • Chopped fresh chilli
  • 1/2 tsp mango powder
  • Salt to taste

How to cook Masaledar Maize (corn)

  1. Bring maize and peal out the seeds. Boil in pressure 4-5 whistle.

  2. Take a frying pan add oil for saute. Add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste and stir till brown.

  3. Add boiled corn, salt and saute. Add channa masala, chilli powder and mango powder.
  4. Stir continuously and mix well. Then add chopped green chill and chopped coriander.
  5. Now ready to serve masaledar maize.
