This is my invention...like u do batata vada I have stuffed masala potato covered with the outer crust with urad dal like the vadas...a very tasty snack...pls try it

Ingredients
- Urad dal 2 cups
- Rice 1 cup
- Potatoes 4 boiled and mashed
- Onion 1 chopped for the masala and rest 2 onion chopped for the outer crust
- Coriander leaves chopped 1/2 cup
- Salt
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Curry powder 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Green chilli chopped 2-3
- Green chilli 2 and garlic 5-6 cloves coarsely grinded
- Oil for frying

Instructions
- Soak urad dal and rice for 5-6 hours..wash it and grind
- For the stuffings take a pan..heat oil and crackle some zeera
- Now put 1 chopped onion and sauté..
- Add ginger garlic paste and sauté till raw smell goes
- Add boiled and mashed potatoes
- Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,curry powder and salt and mix everything well
- Add the green chilli and garlic paste and mix well..
- Add some chopped coriander and keep it aside.. Make small balls out of it
- In the urad dal paste mix salt,chopped green chilli,chopped onion and coriander leaves and mix well
- Heat oil in a pan
- Take some batter in ur palm ..flatten it and then keep a potato ball on the batter..now seal it from all sides
- Now deep fry the balls till half done
- When half fried take the balls out and with the help of a glass flatten them by gently pressing them
- Again fry them till crispy and golden brown in colour
- Serve hot with sauce or chutney
