For The Dough:-
250 gms plain flour (maida)
Salt to Taste
3 tbsp Oil
4 potatoes , boiled , peeled and mashed
2 tbsp besan (bengal gram flour)
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
2 green chillies , chopped
Onion -2 medium size chopped
1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 cup Carrot, Capsicum, Bean finely chopped
Oil for Cooking
1 tsp garam masala
Salt to Taste
For the dough:-
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and knead into a soft dough, using water.
Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
For the stuffing:-
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Divide the stuffing into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
How to Proceed:-
Roll out a portion of the dough into a circle.
Place a portion of the stuffing at the centre and bring the edges together at the center to seal tightly
Roll out again into a circle, using little whole wheat flour.
Heat a tava and cook each paratha, using little oil, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides. Serve hot with green sauce or tomato ketchup.
