Masala Moong Dal that is had with Puris, Pakwan and piping hot rotis.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Moong dal
  • ½ teaspoon Red chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Amchoor
  • 2 tbsp Oil for tadka
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Boil the dal in 2 ½ cups of water. Add salt and haldi too.
  • Cook in pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles. When it is boiled, mash the soft dal softly.
  • Give Tadka-Heat the oil. Add the jeera.
  • When the jeera splutters, add the red chili. Spread this on the hot dal.
  • While serving, add the black pepper powder and amchoor. Serve with Mini Puris.
