  • 1/2 kg paneer/cottage cheese
  • 1 cup malai top of boiled milk
  • 2 tbsp onion paste
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Salt
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 pinch turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • coriander for garnishing ..


  • cut the paneer in cubs. heat the ghee/clarified butter add cumin seeds, as they pop add ginger,garlic and onion paste, saute it
  • now add turmeric,red chili powder,coriander powder cook the masala for 5 minute, add tomato puree ,let cook the all apices till oil separates.
  • add malai and paneer stir well . add 1 cup of water ,cook it for 5 minute more .add garam masala and switch the flame. garnish with coriander


you can add curd instead of tomato puree
