250gm cottage cheese (cut into 1inch cubes)
1 onion finely chopped
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
2 roughly chopped green chilies
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 sprig curry leaves
2 cups coconut milk
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
3 tablespoons cooking oil
Heat 2tablespoons oil on nonstick pan and shallow fry paneer pieces.
On other wok add 3tablespoons oil and splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add onion n saute on high flame for 2minutes. Add ginger garlic paste n saute for 2minutes on low medium flame till u get aroma.
Add salt, green chilies and turmeric powder n saute for 30seconds.
Add paneer pieces, mix gently. Add coconut milk, mix, cover n cook for 5minutes on low medium flame.
Malabar paneer is ready to eat. Serve hot this with rice or chapati.
