This Omani halwa is very easy to make and requires just a few ingredients, as little as only 4 of them. It is a rich aromatic dessert that looks as a caramel and is considered a symbol of Omani hospitality and traditionally served with Omani Kahwa. Ingredients
  

  • Butter 1/4 cup
  • Condensed milk 2 cans 395 gm each
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Mixed chopped nuts 1/4 cup

  • Heat butter in a pan on a low heat at first. Empty out both the cans into it. Keep stirring it on a low heat for the next 20 to 25 minutes or a bit more.

  • It requires a lot of patience as it needs to be cooked on a low heat only by continuous stirring. Cook until it starts coming together as a solid mass. Add cardamom powder now.

  • Mix well and take it out into a greased dish. Sprinkle chopped nuts of your choice on top. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Slice it with a knife dipped in hot water and enjoy with your loved ones this luscious and super creamy dessert the next time you crave for something sweet and delicious.
