Lettuce Wraps

Make the best use of aromatic basil, tangy lemon juice, spicy dry red chillies and zesty soya sauce with loads of sauted vegetables in these lettuce wraps. Antioxidant rich veggies add loads of health as well. This is 100 calories snack.

Ingredients
- 6 lettuce leaves
- For The Stuffing : 2 tsp Oil
- 2 teaspoon finely chopped Garlic lehsun
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped Ginger adrak
- 1/4 cup chopped Spring Onions with the greens
- 1/4 cup chopped Mushrooms
- 1/4 cup finely chopped Carrots
- 1/4 cup finely chopped Cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped bean sprouts
- 1/2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon dry Red Chilli flakes paprika
- Salt
- 1 tbsp roasted and coarsely powdered Peanuts
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh basil

Instructions
- Wash the lettuce leaves, dry them on a towel and keep aside.
- For the stuffing Heat the oil in a non-stick kadhai, add the garlic, ginger and spring onions and saute on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent. Add the mushrooms, carrots and cabbage
- mix well and saut on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes Add the bean sprouts, paneer, lemon juice, soya sauce, salt and red chilli flakes and saut on a medium flame for another minute. Keep aside to cool.
- Divide the stuffing into 6 equal portions and keep aside.
- Place a lettuce leaf on a clean, flat surface and place a portion of the stuffing along one side of the leaf. Add peanuts and chopped basil over the stuffing,
- roll it up gently and secure the roll by inserting a toothpick or tie using a spring onion green. Likewise make 5 more wraps Serve immediately
Notes
Wash the lettuce leaves well and keep them on towel to dry at least 2 hours before making wraps. Otherwise it will be difficult to roll the wraps as the lettuce will be wet and moist.
