This recipe is full of aroma when you taste, you will feel it. This is a lost recipe, now people are busy, they don't want to waste time. But I always like and enjoy experimental recipe. I have my own lemon tree.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup finely sliced lemon skin
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • First of all have to peal off the lemon skin and dip in water for 4-5 hours.

  • Clean the skin by tearing white part and then finely sliced.

  • Boiled in water with pinch of salt.

  • Then first time you strain the water. Again add little water
  • Water will reduce then add jaggery and salt, keep on stiring.
  • Add raisin gradually it will become sticky and glossy. Add crushed black pepper and lemon juice.
  • Now it is ready to eat. Keep in a air tight container. Best before six months.

Notes

You should remove the white skin layer Inside under green skin otherwise it will bitter taste.
