Instructions
 

  • Heat a wok. Add oil. Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds& let it crackle
  • Now add ginger chili curry leaves & kasuri methi. Cook for 1 min
  • Add peanuts . Cook for 2-3 min. Add turmeric powder. Mix well
  • Now add rice . Mix well. Add lemon juice , lemon zest & salt
  • Mix well. Cook for 2 min & it's ready to serve.
  • Though it is good to eat alone but you can serve it with coconut chutney

Recipe Notes

  • For lemon rice rice grains must not be sticked together
  • It turns out very good with left over rice
  • You can add chana dal & split urad dal in tadka . My family likes it without dal so I Don’t use it
