Ingredients
  

  • Bottle guard 1 large size
  • gm flour 2 tbsp
  • Onion paste 2 tbsp
  • Green chili paste 1 tsp
  • Curd 1 tbsp
  • Malai 1 tsp for garnishing
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Tomato puree 2 tbsp or 1 /2 cup
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • 2 tablespoon oil for frying + 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Peel,wash and grate the bottle guard and boil with 1 cup water for 5 minutes.squeeze the excess water.
  • Dry roast the gram flour .
  • Make a mixture with boiled bottle guard,1 tsp salt,green chili paste,gram flour ,make the balls ,heat the oil and fry the balls golden,keep aside
  • Add more oil in remaining oil add cumin seeds as they pop add ginger,garlic,onion paste saute it.
  • Add dry spices cook saute with 1 tbsp water.
  • Add tomato puree and whipped curd cook it till the oil separates , now add at least 2 glass water ,let it boil.
  • Now add koftas cook it for 5 minute more and switch off the gas .
  • Garnish with garam masala ,coriander and malai ...serve hot with roti or rice...
