Lasuni karela
Bitter gourd (karela) is very good for diabetics. It has powerful antioxidant along with vitamin A and C which prevents premature anti aging. Even then some people avoid bitter gourd due to bitterness. Here is the recipe which I cooked with less oil and less ingredients. It has garlic flavour.

Ingredients
- 2 medium size karela
- 1 to mato
- 1 onion
- 8 -10 garlic cloves
- 3 - 4 green chillies
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tbsp mustard oil
- Pink salt to taste

Instructions
- Boil bitter gourd, tomato, green chillies, garlic and onion. After then chop and keep separate the bitter gourd.
- Then peel off tomato, garlic and onion. Make a paste with boiled tomato, garlic, onion and green chillies. Then add turmeric powder, cumin powder and coriander powder.
- Now heat a pan add oil and saute the bitter gourd. Then add the boiled mixed paste and stir-fry. Let cook for a few minutes. Finally sprinkle with cottage cheese (chena).
- Serve with rice, chapati or whatever you want. After boiling thy bitterness of karela will be reduced.
