Lal masoor kaleji We can make kaleji in different ways. Those who are non-vegetarian they will love the recipe. I made kaleji with whole red masoor dal.

Ingredients
 

  • ½ cup Masoor lal
  • 200 gm Mutton
  • 2 tsp Garlic chopped
  • 2 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 2 tsp Turmeric Paste raw
  • 2 tbsp Onion Paste
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Desi Ghee homemade
  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • Whole Garam Masala
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste

Instructions
 

  • Soak whole masoor for 5 to 6 hours then boil with kaleji and whole garam masala.

  • Take a pan add mustard oil, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, onion paste, tomato paste, raw turmeric paste. Stir fry all ingredients then pour boiled masoor and kaleji.

  • Now add little water then again cook for another 5 minutes. Add homemade garam masala and homemade ghee. It can be served with chapati/ Naan/ rumaali or as you wish.
