About this recipe

Lahpet is their favourite tea. They like smoky and fermented flavour. Sometimes they soaked leaves over night. They don't use sugar. They like dark black tea. Sometimes they use condensed milk. I have given a Burmese touch in my garden.

Ingredients for Lahpet (burmese Tea)

  • 2 glasses of water
  • 4 tsp lahpet leaves
  • 4 tsp condensed milk

How to cook Lahpet (burmese Tea)

  1. I have made a temporary oven with bricks and wooden fires.
  2. I have brought a antique kettle. Add water to boil.
  3. Then add lahpet leaves and boil.
  4. Strain the leaves and add condensed milk.
  5. Now serve hot lahpet with biscuits.

I am enjoying lahpet Burmese tea with Burmese style in my garden.
