Kozhakattai is a traditional Tamilian dish prepared during the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. There is a sweet and savoury version to it. Today I present the sweeter version of the kozhakattai.

Ingredients
- For the covering:
- Raw rice - 1 cup soaked in water for 2 hours
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Water - 1 and a half cup
- Salt a pinch
- For the filling:
- Jaggery - 1 cup
- Coconut freshly grated - 1 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Ghee - 1 tsp
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp

Instructions
- Make all the modaks in the same way and steam it in a cooker for 15-20 minutes. Serve with fresh homemade ghee.
