Recipe Time & More
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice (new)
- 1 cup Daal (urd)
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 bowl Vegetables (dice)
- 3-4 Green Chillies (red and)
- 2 tbsp Oil (mustered)
- 2 tsp Desi Ghee
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1-2 tsp Salt (or as per taste)
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed

Instructions
- Take a deep frying pan add oil when heated add red chilli and cumin seeds then add washed rice and urd deal. Mix well and stir continuously.
- Add turmeric powder, salt, ginger paste, green chilli and cumin powder. After mixing add as you required. Cover the lid till cook.
- In another pan add diced vegetables make shallow fry. Then add cooked rice deal garam masala and pure ghee. Serve khichdi with salad and other veggies.
Recipe Notes
This is good for lunch. Serve hot.
