Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup new rice
  • 1 cup urd daal
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 bowl dice vegetables
  • 3-4 red and green chilli
  • 2 tbsp mustered oil
  • 2 teaspoon pure ghee
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed

Instructions
 

  • Take a deep frying pan add oil when heated add red chilli and cumin seeds then add washed rice and urd deal. Mix well and stir continuously.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt, ginger paste, green chilli and cumin powder. After mixing add as you required. Cover the lid till cook.
  • In another pan add diced vegetables make shallow fry. Then add cooked rice deal garam masala and pure ghee. Serve khichdi with salad and other veggies.

Notes

This is good for lunch. Serve hot.
