- 1 bowl paneer cubes
- 1 cup rice
- 1 cup moong dal
- 2 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 cumin powder
- 2-4 green chilli
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required
- 1 tsp lemon juice

- Make a shallow fry paneer cubes and keep separate. In the same pan add oil, cumin seeds roasted moong dal. Stir continuously till light brown and roasted flavour.
- Add rice, turmeric powder, cumin powder, ginger paste green chilli and salt. Stir continuously add warm water. Open the lid till cook.
- After ten minutes open the lid squeeze lemon and add paneer cubes.
- Serve hot paneer khichdi
