Kheer Panna Cotta

  • For Panna cotta-
  • 2 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • Pinch of star anise
  • 1-2 green cardamom
  • 2-3 tbsp soaked rice
  • 1 tbsp agar agar powder
  • For Syrup:
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 pinch of saffron
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • water as needed


  • Panna cotta Take 2 cups of milk and rice, and cook on low heat for at least 20 mins. Add cream, cardamom powder, star anise and mix well.
  • Mix agar-agar in the 1/2 cup warm milk and mix thoroughly Add the agar mixture to the cooked rice
  • Pour it in glasses or mould and set it in the fridge
  • Syrup:- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, use water if need to thin it to a pouring consistency.
  • To serve: Pour the sauce on a plate and gentle put the unmolded pudding/kheer on the plate. Garnish it with pistachio tuile. Enjoy!
