Khatta meetha chivda is a very popular and most wanted namkeen specially made on holi festival. Usually its deep fried but i have roasted it by using minimum oil.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup chivda poha
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • Half dry coconut khopranariyal( cut in thin slices)
  • Dry chilies - 4 to 5
  • Curry leaves - 5 to 7
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Red chili powder- 1 /2 tsp
  • Mango powder - 2 tsp
  • Vegetable oil
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Take a big wok add chivda in it and dry roast it till it starts getting little brown in color. Now add 1 tsp oil in chivda and again stir it. Switch off the flame.
  • Take another wok add ghee or oil in it (2 tbsp) Add your peanuts and coconut and deep fry. Take them out on an absorbent paper when they turn little golden brown.(dont fry raisins)
  • Now take another wok add 1 tsp oil.add cumin,mustard , dry chilies and curry patta. Let it crackle . Now add turmeric powder,sugar ,red chili powder and salt in it. Mix it well.
  • Now add your tempering and dry fruits in the chivda wok. Add dry mango powder and stir it well. Your chivda is ready.
