Kesar Pista Kulfi
Ingredients
- 500 ml Milk
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cream fresh
- 2 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1 tbsp Milk Powder
- 2 tbsp Almonds or pista pista chopped
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 6 Kesar strips
- 4 drops Essence or kewra kewra

Instructions
- Boil milk along with cardamom powder & kesar till reduced three fourth.
- Add the sugar, mix it well.
- Mix cornflour with quarter cup of milk, and gradually add to the boiling milk, stir continuously.
- Add chopped pista, (milk powder dissolved in some milk), milk powder and mix it well. Remove from fire and let it be cool.
- Now add the beaten fresh cream and kewra essence
- Beat the whole mixture with electric beater for 2 minutes.
- Now pour the mixture in the kulfi mould, tap it and close it tightly and freeze for 6 to 7 hours.
- Serve chilled.
Recipe Notes
This is best accompanied with falooda.
