Ingredients for Kasoori Methi Aloo

  • 4 large size Hard boiled potato
  • Sendha salt/laohri salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Green chili chopped
  • 2 tbsp Whole red chili broken
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp methi dana
  • 4 tbsp Kasoori methi
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

How to cook Kasoori Methi Aloo

  1. Cut the potato into slices. pluck the whole red chili into two pieces. Heat the ghee in a pan pop the cumin and methi dana.
  2. Add green chili and whole red chili, Add potato fenugreek leaves and salt ,stir and cook for 5 minute. add lemon juice. Switch the flame. Serve hot with paratha or poori.


We can add amchoor powder instead of lemon juice.
