  • Mango 2 no medium size raw
  • 1 / Oil tblspn
  • Mustard Seeds rai
  • Cumin Seed jeera
  • 6 - Garlic cloves chopped
  • 3 - Green Chillies no chopped
  • 1 - whole wheat flour tspn
  • Turmeric Powder haldi
  • leaves Curry
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 8 - Sugar tblspn
  • Jagerry optional gud
  • to leaves Coriander garnish
  • Water


  •  Boil two raw mangoes in 2 cups of water for about 10-15 mins.
  • Once the mangoes are cooked,cool them.
  • Squeeze and peel out the pulp completely.
  •  If there are small-small lumps of pulp,blend the pulp together so that it is a consistent mixture.
  • Take about 1-2 or 1&1/2 teaspoon of wheat flour and add to the mango pulp mixture.
  • Whisk or churn them together to mix well. Ensure that no lumps of wheat flour are left.
  • Heat 1/2 tblspn oil in  broad vessel. Add mustard & cumin seeds.
  • Add the chopped garlic and green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Add the mango-wheat pulp mixture and mix well.
  • Add turmeric powder,salt and sugar.Add 1 cupof water (as reqd) mix well and give it a boil.
  • If the mangoes are too sour add jaggery along-with sugar.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
