Yield / Serves
Paneer (fried) 14 ounces
Green Bell Pepper 1 small, cubed
Red Bell Pepper 1 small, cubed
Red onion small, cubed
Cumin 1/2 tsp
Kasuri Methi 3/4 tsp
Garlic cloves 3-4, chopped
Salt to taste
Kadhai Masala 1/2 tsp or to taste (used Shaan)
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Tomato Puree 1/2 cup
Olive Oil 2 tbsp
Whole Dried Red Chilies 2 no
In a kadhai (wok), heat the oil.
Add the cumin seeds and dry red chilies and let it crackle.
Add the cubed onions and cook until light pinkish color.
Now add the bell pepper both red and green and sautee for a few minutes..
After sauting the veggies, add the tomato puree and mix well. Also add salt, turmeric, kadhai masala, garam masala, red chili powder if needed.
Let it cook it until the raw smell of tomato puree is gone.
Then add the fried paneer cubes and mix well so all the masala covers the paneer cubes and cover it.
Cook for a few minutes so the flavors marry.
Now add the kasuri methi and mix. Your kadhai paneer is ready to eat.
