Jeera Onion rice is another very simple preperation which is an integral part of a North Indian restaurant menu. Sometimes you may not find onions in it. But my family loves it with crisp brown onions

Ingredients
- 1 cup Cooked Rice
- 1 tsp Jeera
- 1 medium Onion size sliced
- 1 Whole red chilli dry
- 2 tbsp Clarified Butter or ghee ghee
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste

Instructions
- Heat a wok. Add ghee. Once the ghee is warm add jeera.
- Let it crackle for a min Add chilli & onions. Cook on medium flame until onions are crisp brown. Add rice & salt.
- Mix well. Cook covered for a 2 min on medium flame. & it's done.
- Serve hot with dal makhni or shahi paneer
