Jamun Cooler : Healthy Fresh Juices

Jamun or Black plum is an important summer fruit, associated with many health and medicinal benefits. The black plum is known to relieve stomach pain, is carminative, anti-scorbutic and diuretic. Jamun’s polyphenolic compounds are very effective against cancer, heart diseases, diabetes, asthma and arthritis. Rich in vast health benefits, this juice is tasty and healthy.   • 1 cup Jamuns washed and deseeded
  • 2 cups Cold water
  • 1 tbsp Honey add or reduce as per taste
  • 1 pinch Cracked pepper
  • 1 pinch Black salt
  • 1 Lemon juice squeezed out
  • Mint leaves for garnish


  • Into a blender, add the deseeded jamun along with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Blend till a smooth texture is achieved. Adjust lemon juice, pepper and salt at this stage. Add more if necessary.
  • Pour into serving glasses; garnish with mint leaves and serve immediately.
